You may have encountered various obstacles while swimming, such as "not being able to find a suitable coach", "still not knowing the essence of good swimming technique after many years of learning", "practicing all the time but not making progress", "body often feels stuck and the movements are not good", etc.
Our Coach has also experienced these difficulties before.
Stuck in a plateau, wanting to make progress but unsure how to solve the problem, lacking knowledge and guidance.

Coaching Style
Swimming x Sports Science
Coach Phoebe pursued further studies in sports science to enhance her skills, aiming to provide more students with guidance on swimming and health by learning up-to-date scientific knowledge .
By combining her own teaching experience with sports science, she gains a deeper understanding of the root causes, and help students solve problems from the root.
The importance of improving body alignment, training respiratory muscles, and the use of multiple muscles when practicing swimming techniques etc... These advanced scientific knowledge also need to be constantly updated and studied in order to maximize the effectiveness.
Integrating sports science into swimming can not only help students learn step by step and improve learning efficiency, but can also specifically enhance physical fitness, improve athletic performance, and prevent sports injuries.

Learning Step by Step - No Shortcuts
Students often ask how long it takes to learn to swim, and whether it's possible to learn as quick as possible. Unfortunately, we believe that there's no shortcut, so we politely declined those students who wanted to "learn too quickly".
Everyone has a different definition of "learning," but for our standard to learning swimming, we keep the bar high. Lowering the learning standard would only pose a threat to beginner swimmers, and increasing the risk of drowning.
It's not just about teaching students to "learn," but about teaching them to "learn well," enabling them to master swimming techniques and control their bodies freely. Even without a coach, they can apply the swimming skills learned in class to their daily lives, making full use of their physical abilities and making exercise easier.
Students need to invest time and effort in practice to achieve their goals. To achieve them quickly, they need to spend more time and practice more frequently. In our teaching, we utilize the principles of sports science, arranging training in a gradual and progressive manner, providing guidance, and helping students avoid detours to achieve their swimming goals.
Learning swimming strokes is only the surface. If students lack the basics such as muscular strength and body coordination, and do not have sufficient physical ability and learning foundation to support them, even if they "learn" the strokes, they may not be able to do them "well". They will soon reach a bottleneck and need to relearn swimming again.
Lay a Solid Foundation, Understanding the Principles
We focus on building a sense of water and basic breathing skills, gradually strengthening the body's breathing control and overall coordination, and then improving muscle sensitivity through practice to learn the neuromuscular activation of swimming techniques.
During class, the coach will use different methods such as games and metaphors to interact and explain to different students.
The goal is to enable students not only to know "how" to practice , but also knowing "why" we do it and to understand the sports science principles behind the movements.
Even if students practice independently outside of class, as long as they understand the scientific principles, they can consciously adjust their movements appropriately to maximize the effectiveness of their practice.
In addition, we pay attention to details, refining swimming techniques within the students' capabilities and perfecting each step. From beginner to advanced swimmers, we can specifically address weaknesses, reduce water resistance, increase power efficiency, and effectively improve swimming performance.
